Perfectly Imperfect

In Japan broken objects are often repaired with gold. The flaw is seen as a unique piece of the object's history which adds to its beauty. This is called Kintsugi or “golden joinery.” Breakage and repair are a part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

Yes, the world is DEFINITELY imperfect right now.

Yes, I'm DEFINITELY imperfect living in an imperfect world.

And this will never change. So, WHAT AM I WAITING FOR?! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

I don’t need another excuse to hold myself back from what I really want to do and be who I really want to be. If anything, this current space has inspired me to go for it in spite of.

I will enjoy this ride in the midst of it all and have a laugh or two or five along the way. I can’t wait to see what beautiful things I'll create.

I can't wait to see what beautiful thing you'll create.
