How To Dig Yourself Out of A Hole

I'm working on reclaiming my center.

Behind the photos is where life really happens. Sometimes I create holes I have to dig myself out of. Sometimes I compromise my happiness. Sometimes I end up in gray situations. BUT in true Yana form I always work to return to self.

My 5 Tips To Dig Yourself Out of a Hole

1. STOP DIGGING LONG ENOUGH TO ASESS THE HOLE.

Pause all activity and analyze how big the hole is.

2. DON'T ATTEMPT TO CONVINCE YOURSELF THAT YOU'VE BEEN BUILDING A LADDER INSTEAD OF A HOLE.

A hole, is a hole is a hole. You can't build from a sunken place. Don't try to psych yourself out to think that what you've been digging is actually building. Be real with yourself.

3. GET ORGANIZED.

Once you've acknowledged your situation it's time to get into action. Organize your thoughts and next steps to get out of the hole. Reach out to your confidants, team and advisors.

4. LET IT GO!

Insanity is doing the same thing over and overagain but expecting different results. Stop doing what hasn't been working!

5. LISTEN TO YOUR GUT.

As you're releasing things, actions and situations that no longer serve you, follow your inner GPS to start rebuilding. It will always align with your vision and goals.

"If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging."
